Cologne, Germany 2023

The 4th International Gathering in Cologne brought together 58 participants from 10 European countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland). It was our largest gathering so far and we once again aimed to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere throughout the entire weekend.

We started already on Thursday with an early-bird dinner, offering a first opportunity for participants to meet, reconnect, and ease into the gathering. On Friday, we explored the city together during a guided tour through Cologne, giving everyone a chance to experience the local culture and surroundings.

Saturday was filled with a diverse program. We enjoyed a traditional Salteña break, followed by a musical performance by Johannes Helsper and his band Fusion Andino. In the evening, we gathered at the traditional bar at the famous Cologne Cathedral, where participants experienced a well-known piece of Cologne’s local culture in a lively and authentic setting.

On Sunday, the focus shifted towards reflection and culture. The program included a book presentation, followed by folkloric dance performances and an interactive dance workshop, where participants could actively engage with Bolivian traditions.
The warm summer weather added to the experience, making it a particularly hot but an enjoyable gathering where connections could grow naturally.
